Plum Quick Motors

For over 20 years, Plum Quick Motors has been making high-performance golf cart motors for a wide range of applications, including hunting, off-roading, golfing, cruising and even racing. 
 
They hold several speed records in various categories of golf cart and electric dragsters, including two Guinness World Records and two in the National Electric Drag Racing Association Pro-Modified Street category in ⅛ and ¼ mile. Other achievements include track records and 100 mph Club at Pageland Dragway, Union Dragway, Mooresville Dragway and Darlington Dragway. They have 31 first place wins, not only in drag racing but also hill climbs, mud pits, and other events.

El Cucuy (The Boogeyman)
In the Summer of 2022, Plum Quick co-founder Robby Steen attempted to break his own Guinness Book record for fastest regulation golf cart with the El Cucuy (The Boogeyman).  He reached over 90 mph but didn’t reach his previous record. Undeterred, he immediately started making necessary technical improvements for another attempt in 2023. 
 
In the meantime, he reached over 133 mph in a NEDRA Pro-Mod dragster.
