CAGI - apples to apples

Comparing compressor performance across different manufacturers has long been a difficult task. Fortunately, the Compressed Air and Gas Institute has developed a tool for a fair comparison between compressors. CAGI is a non-profit organization of competitive companies that manufacture air and gas compressors and related equipment. CAGI seeks to educate end-users to promote effective, safe, and energy efficient uses of compressed air and gases.

CAGI members worked closely with standard development bodies to develop key standards for compressed air and gas systems equipment and established a standard form for manufacturers to use to publish their compressor performance. These CAGI data sheets make it easier to perform side-by-side comparisons of compressor efficiency and performance. Download our white paper for line-by-line explanations of everything on these data sheets.
