CN C and DN C series high pressure boosters

High pressure boosters for an efficient compressed air supply

This complete system has it all: With a new design featuring a footprint approximately half the size of their predecessors, CN C and DN C series boosters look as good on the inside as they do on the outside. A new component layout not only ensures optimization of the cooling air flow, but also provides improved maintenance access.

Furthermore, the revised SIGMA CONTROL 2 controller provides new, multiple monitoring and control options with an assortment of interfaces, as well as being fully compatible with master control systems, thereby offering the facility for dynamic control. 

On SFC versions of the DN C series, compressor flow rate is matched to the actual air demand of the application in question, which means that only as much energy is consumed as is needed to produce the exact amount of compressed air required.

CN C series performance parameters:

  • 10 - 30 hp
  • Initial pressure: 45 – 190 psi
  • Final pressure: 145 – 650 psi
  • Flow rate: 27 - 283 cfm

DN C series performance parameters:

  • 30 - 60 hp
  • Initial pressure: 45 - 190 psi
  • Final pressure: 145 - 650 psi
  • Flow rate: 80 - 882 cfm

Optional features:

High pressure boosters are available as air or water-cooled versions. CN C series high-pressure boosters are delivered as standard with air-cooling. A version equipped for nitrogen compression, sealed to prevent outside air from penetrating, is also available (N2 version).

Applications:

PET bottle production, process air applications, nitrogen generation, high pressure for testing facilities, e.g. for pressure tests, burst pressure tests, and pulse tests (on brakes, coolers, etc.).

  • Extended service life:
    The motor and airend have been decoupled from the rest of the machine. The control cabinet, cooler, fan and pipework are therefore significantly less affected by vibrations.
  • Optimized access for maintenance work:
    Side view with air cooler installed – better access once again here thanks to easily removable panel
  • Improvement for maintenance work:
    Belt change, solenoid valve servicing (nitrogen version) or replacement of dirt trap on inlet valve
