For all applications

Blower applications have very specific requirements for air purity.  Some bulk goods are heat sensitive while others cluster if the conveying air is too humid.  In some instances, substances present in the ambient air must not be carried through to the working air. For all such requirements, Kaeser offers a full and comprehensive range of coolers, dryers, and filters as well as the expertise of being one of the world's leading air system suppliers.  Our customers can count on the right type, size and compatibility of air treatment components together with the right control system to economically and reliably meet the specific air requirements.

Air treatment
A complete range of air treatment equipment including refrigerated and desiccant dryers are available to maintain application specific dewpoints or humidity levels.  Optional filtration systems also reduce particulate levels.

Aftercooling
Both air-to-air and air-to-water heat exchangers function as aftercoolers to reduce the discharge air's temperature.

Filtration
Application specific filters for both inlet and outlet provide the required air purity level. Centrifugal separators are used when air is heavily loaded with moisture.

Piping connections
Inlet and outlet silencers can be fitted with axial compensators, or with flange fittings in DIN and ANSI standards.

Control systems
Kaeser offers extensive sequencing and control options.  Master controllers coordinate the operation of four, eight or sixteen blower packages; sequencing them to meet varying demand and ensure equal service hours on all machines. A common pressure transducer ensures minimum switching differential. Controllers also provide pressure band control for even greater overall system efficiency.

Variable speed drive
A frequency converter seamlessly controls the blower's motor speed to regulate air flow.  Pressure can also be regulated when used in conjunction with a pressure transducer. This control scheme maximizes efficiency under all service conditions.

Control valves
In applications where the blower is operated only for short periods, optional control valves keep pressure and flow constant.
