| Energy savings with Secotec® Control The high capacity thermal mass medium is cooled down to cut-out temperature by the refrigeration circuit and extracts the heat from the compressed air fl owing through the heat exchanger. As soon as the temperature of the thermal mass rises to the cut-in temperature, the refrigerant compressor starts and cools it down again. Due to the thermal mass’s high capacity, the refrigerant compressor can be shut down as soon as the lower temperature is reached. This feature considerably reduces power consumption compared with non-cycling controllers.

| Minimal pressure drop The air-to-air and refrigerant-to-air heat exchangers are equipped with generously sized copper piping to ensure minimal pressure drop. The smooth inner walls prevent deposits build-up even after years of operation. Plus, Secotec dryers do not require a pre-filter which also helps maintain minimal pressure drop.

| Reliable condensate removal The Eco-Drain features a capacitance sensor that prevents loss when the condensate is drained from the air system. When the collector tank is full, the level sensor opens a diaphragm valve and the condensate is drained off. The electronics keep the valve open until the container is empty and close it again before compressed air can escape.

| High efficiency separator The compressed air streaming into the separator hits a deflector plate and is forced into circular motion. The air then flows through a stainless steel wire mesh that separates 99.9% of the water from the air. The stainless steel separator tank is corrosion resistant.

| Durable cabinet Secotec dryers are enclosed in powder-coated, sound-dampening enclosures and built for durability in the industrial environment. The enhanced component layout and easy-access panels help speed routine maintainance.

| User-friendly operation The control panel includes a dew point trend gauge and other critical operation data. System features include: Emergency/Off switch, LEDs to indicate “Thermal Mass Active” and “Refrigerant Compressor ON”. All of these features provide easy-operation and help increase system reliability.

| Easy Maintenance All components such as heat exchangers, refrigerant circuit, condensate separator and drain trap are easily accessible. Service valves are also provided to easily inspect the refrigerant circuit. The condenser is located in front so that dirt accumulation to be quickly spotted and removed.
