Compressed air treatment

Treatment components for a broad range of applications

KAESER offers a complete range of compressed air dryers, filters and condensate drains to combat moisture, oil, and particulates to ensure a reliable supply of clean, dry air. We have the products and system expertise to design a solution to deliver the air quality you need for any application—from basic shop air to instrument air to breathing air.  Let us help you select the right mix of air treatment for your applications. In many cases, we can reduce capital, maintenance and energy costs by specifying the best options for different applications within your plant.

  • Extend equipment life by reducing wear on pneumatic tools and equipment
  • Reduce scrap caused by contaminated products or malfunctioning equipment
  • Reduce maintenance costs and extend maintenance intervals
  • Maintain energy efficiency by not over-treating compressed air

Why do we need air treatment?

air-treatment-needs

Because ambient air contains contaminants that are drawn into the compressor. These contaminants are compressed and intensified and find their way into the compressed air stream by the compressor, receiver tank, piping, and other installed components.

Dryers

dryers by Kaeser Compressors

Application-specific moisture removal

  • Refrigerated air dyers are available from 10 to 3355 scfm. Non-cycling and cycling dryers provide maximum efficiency by offering the best drying solution for a wide range of applications.
  • Desiccant dryers, available from 7 to 5400 scfm, produce pressure dew points as low as -100°F
  • Membrane dryers produce pressure dew points to -40°F and are perfect for small to medium compressed air systems

Filtration

Compressed air filters and activated carbon adsorbers

Remove contaminants to meet a variety of purity classes

  • Remove dust, oil aerosols and vapors – for pressures up to 232 psig
  • High-pressure filters compatible with Kaeser boosters – for pressures up to 650 psig
  • Activated carbon adsorbers remove oil vapors and odors. They achieve residual oil content to Class 1 as per ISO 8573-1.
