Air Center Inc., has an immediate opening for a Service Technician in the northwest Ohio area.
Service Technician - Northwest Ohio
Your Tasks
The qualified candidate will be responsible for: - Performing all maintenance and service on compressed air systems for customers in our service territory, including after hour emergencies
- Preparing work orders, timesheets, and expense reports accurately and completely, neatly and timely, using a laptop computer
- Assisting with evaluation of Kaeser products for warranty, rebuilding and maintenance purposes
- Seeking new service work and parts/accessory sales
- Upkeep of all tools used for servicing compressors and related items
- Communicating with the Technical Department to find alternatives and solutions to problems on parts, compressors, blowers & vacuum units
Your Profile
The successful candidate’s background will include: - 2–3 years solid field service experience performing installations, preventative maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, preferably compressors
- A strong electrical/plumbing mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Must be self-directed to perform with little supervision
- Must have own tools
- Computer skills (REQUIRED)
- A good driving record (REQUIRED)
- Refrigeration certification (A PLUS)
