Additional Training Resources

Having solid foundation in and understanding the science of compressed air helps ensure effective, efficient and reliable compressed air usage. In addition to our interactive training presentations and our own KFaCT program, Kaeser also recommends the following sources for training in compressed air basics and fundamental system knowledge.

CAGI SmartSite

The Compressed Air and Gas Institute (CAGI) has created the CAGI SmartSite - an online learning center dedicated to the fundamentals of efficient compressed air usage.  Users can register for a variety of topics including:

  • Compressed Air Basics
  • Types of Compressors
  • Capacity Controls
  • Distribution Systems
  • Controlling Wastes
  • Air Treatment
  • Compressor Installation & Air System Maintenance

Compressed Air Challenge

The Compressed Air Challenge is a voluntary collaboration of industrial users; manufacturers, distributors and their associations; consultants; state research and development agencies; energy efficiency organizations; and utilities. This group has one purpose in mind - helping endusers enjoy the benefits of improved performance in compressed air systems.

The CAC Level I and II compressed air training sessions are sought by manufacturers and end-users alike and are recognized industry-wide as the standard for air system education. These sessions are led by compressed air experts who are dedicated to providing strategies that can be immediately implemented in virutally any air sytem.
