The Community Foundation
The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region is a nonprofit public foundation built by generous businesses, individuals, and families that care about their community. The Foundation supports creative and innovative solutions that impact our way of life, from the arts, history, and the environment, to education, safety, and health.
Through efforts like Youth in Philanthropy, the Women and Girls Fund, The Community Give and much more, the Foundation is a vital local resource committed to providing the leadership, tools, and resources necessary to preserve and grow our region. That's why we are proud to partner with them as they work to enrich our community.
The Rappahannock United Way
Rappahannock United Way (RUW) is a non-profit organization that has been a part of the Fredericksburg community since 1939. Their mission is to improve lives by bringing individuals, families, businesses, and organizations together and to give back to the community through giving, advocating or volunteering. RUW has developed measurable funding approaches through the creation of grants, community services, and matching programs that focus on education, financial stability and healthy living in the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George and Caroline County areas.
